2006.12.20, 23:37 InvestPlace does not honour deposits prior July 2006 |
  |
We understand your frustration! Our own account reflects $2,500+ in deposits and interest on them prior to February 2006.
At that time, InvestPlace, like many other programs was severely affected by the failure of IntGold and EMO and its account was drained by StormPay (that's the same reason it is currently 'overdrawn'). Most programs simply closed up shop.
InvestPlace re-opened sometime around July but made it clear that although they would leave previous deposits on record, they would not be able to honour them unless funds were returned from the 3 processors. At this time, it seems unlikely that they (or we) will ever see any of this money!
Our own comments on our HYIPMONITOR site and elsewhere only deal with deposits and events since the re-opening of the program in July!

So its NOT!!!! really an investment and its not protected, which is the point I am trying to make here. They have not honored their own terms, so what makes you think they will in the future. When you stop communication with members..........well we all know how these things end. I am pulling all promotions as they have not lived up to their terms as far as I am concerned. I brought in close to 500 members most of whom wont even talk to me at this point. I really believed all the hype and crap that is printed on the site. So once again the old members get screwed and new ones reap the benefits and eventually the site goes down. I wish you luck with this one as I feel you are going to need it but I am not putting another dime into this. I am really tired of waiting for these programs to pay off as I should know better most never do.!!!!!!!!!

Well, yes, kayda5, you WERE right. I too, am truly sorry that InvestPlace is now gone. But the truth of the matter is that this was a totally foreseeable result. It had an 18 month run (with a couple of months hiatus in the middle). This is WAY longer than the average.
Anyone who joined early on and followed the 10 Golden Rules of HYIP would not have lost much here! As is always the case in this type of program, those who joined recently or those who insisted of compounding all, or the bulk of their spends may have been hit hard. For our part, since the site came back in July 2005, we largely only had funds in the 1 and 3 month terms and withdrew profits weekly. As a result, we were well in profit and had been increasing profit taking and reducing principal. We had only $350 left in plans and had withdrawn $700+ since July!
Now, it's time to move on. There will undoubtedly soon be another InvestPlace style program to take its place. Remember, this one NEVER disclosed how it purported to make its money to repay its members. It is likely that it was either a PURE ponzi style where new spends were used for payouts or it was piggybacking on other ponzis like 12by12Daily and 13DailyPro which recently closed. All part of the normal HYIP - AutoSurf cycles.
Watch the forum for an announcement in the next 48 hours about how we plan to help members escape from this vicious circle!

Once again, InvestPlace has surprised us and come back!
There has been no word from Admin and our pending payouts are still not paid, but it is unlikely that the site would have been restored simply to fold again, we think it likely that payouts WILL resume soon!
